Hello to all my scrappy friends....I
I thought Tim's March Tag was so pretty with all the
SPRING COLORS!
I felt very lucky when I found the butterfly stamp on ebay.
I then went through all my "Tim" supplies to gather what
I needed for this months tag.
I am not going to list all my supplies...just too
redundant, however, I will share what I did
different.
1. I used a heavier embossing powder, because
that is what I had.
2. For the paint I substituted Shaded Lilac for Squeezed Lemonade
I substitued a wire pin for the loop pin.
3. My gears just looked
really large on this size of tag so I added
K&Company stick on stud metal art.
4. I used a Teresa Collins Studio Gold Star.
5. I also used a different number (3 for the month of March) and
I changed the word band quote to go with the butterfly.
6. For my ribbon I used antique linen distress ink and I
just fell in love with the outcome...to me, it looked like a really soft gold,
which I think coordinated really well with the tag.
Here is my March Tag
I am so in AWE of Tim Holtz.
He is so gifted in his field.
But he also is a giver. He
doesn't mind sharing his talent and
knowledge with others.
I have so much to learn, and I am thankful
that Tim is a WONDERFUL TEACHER.
I was so excited to complete this tag.
It had some steps that I have never attempted
before, but I was thrilled to give it a try.
I am hoping to do this tag again just
so I can improve my technique.
Thank you Tim for a FUN March TAG.
